Kiss Music Paradise

The year was 1966. A little-known series called "Star Trek" beams up. "Valley of the Dolls" is the hot book. Half of all TVs sold are color sets. And in "Paradise, Hawaiian Style", Elvis takes to the skies over the island paradise of Kauai. He's a partner in a helicopter charter service. Romance, naturally, is in the air for the King...but his business may be grounded. A threatened suspension of his pilot's license means he may have to kiss his assets goodbye.

When a pair of life-long friends see their fast-lane lives heading for the brick wall of mid-life crisis, they take a detour... into an erotically charged, psychologically perilous adventure of the heart. Perfectly complemented by a haunting musical score, this "taut drama" (Chicago Tribune) will ravish your senses with its smouldering sensuality. After years of upward mobility, best friends Jeff (William Petersen) and Marty (Gary Cole) have achieved the American dream - and ended up disillusioned. To exorcise their demons, they travel to a remote tropical island for some rest and end up falling in love with the same ravishing, free-spirited beauty (Sheryl Lee). Throwing caution to the wind, they all agree to a three-way love affair and, making the fateful decision to shed their families back home, set out to create a sexual and spiritual utopia, observed and counseled by a wry Buddhist monk (Terence Stamp). But there's trouble in this sensual paradise...and it will ultimately test the bonds of friendship and the limits of love for each of them.
